Manchester United will look to secure third place in the Premier League as they welcome Fulham to Old Trafford on the final day of the season.

With Erik ten Hag‘s men sat on 72 points in third place and two points ahead of fourth-positioned Newcastle United, a win would see Manchester United finish third in the Premier League.

They recently clinched Champions League qualification for next season with a 4-1 victory over Chelsea on Thursday evening.

“It’s important, Sunday,  we still can be third in the league,” Ten Hag said in his pre-match press conference. “It’s important to keep focus (and) not get injuries as well. So it gives us good goals for Sunday. But also get a (new) home record, in the history (of the club), we can get that.”

“We know we are still not there where we want to be, but we are back in the Champions League. That was, I think, a really important step. We had to do it because if you want to be successful, you have to be in the Champions League.”

The match officials have been confirmed.
