Mason Mount has sent a three-word message to one of his Manchester United teammates that every fan will agree with.

Ruben Amorim marked his first win as Manchester United head coach with a thrilling Europa League victory over Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night.

Making his Old Trafford debut, Amorim saw United take the lead within 60 seconds in when Alejandro Garnacho scored after relentless pressing by Rasmus Højlund.

The visitors hit back with two quick goals to take the lead by the 25th minute, but Højlund equalised just before halftime with a brilliant touch and finish.

In the second half, Højlund doubled his tally, restoring United’s lead after a slick move involving Mason Mount and Manuel Ugarte, who provided the perfect assist for the winner.

Bodo/Glimt pressed for a late equalizer, but André Onana delivered a series of spectacular saves to secure United’s second Europa League win of the campaign.

There were ups and downs in the game but Noussair Mazraoui managed to produce a wonderful performance as the right centre-back.

His game was summed up by his role in the first game, where he won possession back, skipped past two opposition players and played a pin-point cross for Højlund to score.

Both in and out of possession, the defender was excellent and Amorim will be pleased to see how he has seamlessly adapted to the slightly new role.

After his superb display, Mazraoui took to Instagram to thank the fans for their support during the clash.

“European nights, we keep on going together! Thanks for the support!,” the Moroccan wrote.

Mason Mount was quick to respond to his teammate, writing in the comments, “What a player.”

Mount himself had a solid game in his first start under Amorim. The midfielder looked to really suit the role that Amorim used him in.

Yet, it was Mazraoui who once again impressed fans with another brilliant display at the back.

The 27-year-old has quickly become one of the most consistent performers at Old Trafford and is a guaranteed starter going forward in Amorim’s best team.

Both of them will be looking to start on the weekend when United host Everton in the Premier League.
