Marcus Rashford has been on flying form so far this season under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.

The English winger is United’s top scorer so far this season, adding to his tally against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening with a well-worked corner routine alongside Christian Eriksen.

With Rashford only scoring five goals last campaign in what was certainly a season to forget for the club, he seems back to his sparkling best on the left hand side, also providing four assists for his teammates this campaign, too.

Speaking to Amazon Prime Sport after the 3-0 victory on Tuesday evening, Marcus Rashford explained that the rhythm of starting every week compared to making an impact off the bench has been the key to his increase in form.

“I think for me, when you’re not in the team and you’re coming on it is a different mindset, in terms of you’re having to think about making an impact all the time and you’re not quite sure when you’re going to get another chance on the pitch,” Rashford said.

“It is definitely a different mindset and mentality, but I’m enjoying doing what I’m doing at the minute.”

It’s not just Rashford’s form that’s picked up in recent months, but the squad’s form as a whole has steadily improved as the season has progressed.

“We are winning a lot more football games and I think the level of players have been a lot higher,” Rashford explained. “I am happy with the way we are developing at the minute and I’m hoping that we can keep kicking on.”

With Manchester United set to embark on a gruelling schedule across January in February, and Erik ten Hag will need to utilise his squad to the maximum in order to keep the season on track.
