Marcus Rashford’s future has been making headlines this season, with the latest news claiming that he is “unimpressed” with Erik ten Hag.

No one quite knows what will happen with Marcus Rashford this summer. The latest reports claim that he is one of many players on INEOS‘ list who may be departing from Manchester United as Sir Jim Ratcliffe looks to raise money through sales in the coming window.

Although the club prefers to keep Rashford at Old Trafford, it has been repeatedly said that an offer of the right price will be considered.

This puts Rashford in a category below the players who are seen as “untouchable” at the club—a list that includes just Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Ramsus Højlund.

Many people have had their say on what they feel Rashford’s current thoughts are. However, according to the Manchester Evening News, the winger’s feelings towards Erik ten Hag are said to be less than positive.

According to the report from journalist Samuel Luckhurst, Marcus Rashford “has been unimpressed” with the Dutch manager this season, with his relationship with matchgoers seen as “broken”.

The article then further claims that sources within the club have dropped an inadvertent hint towards United’s position on his transfer.

Although other reports claim United’s official position is that they want to keep the 26-year-old, club sources of MEN are being “sensitive” surrounding the situation, with Luckhurst describing that they are “adopting a similarly diplomatic stance to (Harry) Maguire and (Scott) McTominay last year.”

Last summer, both Maguire and McTominay were up for sale and almost completed a double move to West Ham, and if sources are now adopting the same stance with Rashford that they did in 2023 with the aforementioned pair, this could be seen as a hint that the winger’s stance at the club is not quite what is being portrayed in the media.
