Manchester United’s squad vs Brighton revealed as two debuts expected
Manchester United’s full 21-man squad to face Brighton in their latest Premier League clash has been revealed with Erik ten Hag looking for a third win this season.
Following a slow start to the campaign, United have the chance to make a statement against a dangerous Brighton side.
Ten Hag and the club have dealt with several off-field issues in recent weeks, which has led to both Antony and Jadon Sancho being unavailable for selection, but the manager will be glad that he can focus on football again.
The Dutchman has reinstated Donny van de Beek to the matchday squad following his failed move away from Old Trafford this summer. His inclusion is likely because Sofyan Amrabat is not yet available for selection.
Youngster Daniel Gore is also with the team ahead of the game, although the expected midfield three is unchanged with Bruno Fernandes, Christian Eriksen and Casemiro all likely to start in the middle.
New left-back Sergio Reguilon is present as well and he could be looking at a debut for the club after his deadline day loan move. With Bayern Munich on Wednesday, Ten Hag could look to test the Spanish defender against Brighton.
Rasmus Hojlund is another looking to make his full debut for United after his cameo appearance against Arsenal before the international break.
Meanwhile, Facundo Pellistri is in the squad too and Ten Hag has hinted at a possible start for the 21-year-old. He has only started once for the club so far.
