Ruben Amorim welcomed his Manchester United squad back to training this week ahead of their Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest next week.
Manchester United return to Premier League action after the international break, with Ruben Amorim aiming to build on the positive momentum from their recent form.
The Reds delivered encouraging performances and results against Arsenal, Real Sociedad, and Leicester City before the pause in club football.
While some players have used the break to rest and recover, others are nearing their return from injury.
Amorim will need all available resources as United face a challenging stretch of fixtures, starting with a tough away clash against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.
United squad return to training
United’s full squad was finally back in training this week and club media had exclusive access to Amorim’s training session on Friday afternoon.
The likes of Bruno Fernandes, Noussair Mazraoui and Patrick Dorgu were spotted back at Carrington after their international exploits over the last week.
Meanwhile, Academy stars Chido Obi, Harry Amass and Bendito Mantato were also in the session, suggesting that they could be involved for the first-team rather than playing in the FA Youth Cup semi-final on Monday evening.
In terms of those who have been out of action with injuries, Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw were all back on the grass for the team.
Mason Mount was also involved after returning to the squad against Leicester before the international break. He could make his first appearance since December this week.
Jim Thwaites, Godwill Kukonki and Reece Munro also were involved in the session for Amorim’s team. Meanwhile, Kobbie Mainoo and Ayden Heaven remain out of action.
It was notable that Manuel Ugarte and Noussair Mazraoui were not training with the squad on Friday, likely as they had late returns from international duty with Uruguay and Morocco respectively.
