Manchester United winger Antony’s ex-girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin, has filed a police report against the Brazilian for domestic violence, bodily injury, and threat.

Please be advised that the following article contains a description of sensitive and violent nature.

According to ESPN Brazil, Gabriela Cavallin filed a police report against Manchester United‘s Antony on Monday 5 June at the 5th Women’s Police Station, in Tatuapé, East Zone of São Paulo.

In the report, Cavallin claims that she and Antony had a relationship for two years, having lived with him in Amsterdam, Holland, while he played for Ajax, and later in Manchester.

According to Cavallin, the first of our attacks took place in July 2022.

She reported that the first attack happened after she ended her relationship with Antony at a party at a nightclub in Vila Olímpia, in São Paulo. She claims that Antony removed her from the club with the help of security, before pulling her by the arm and pushing her against a car.

The incident report claims that she was 17 weeks pregnant at the time – Cavallin describes that she lost her baby on 21 July 2022, but does not relate this to the fact the first attack came in the same month as the loss of her child.

Cavallin reported that she started to date Antony again in August of that year, and moved with him from Holland to Manchester – the next attack is then reported to happen January 2023.

It is said in the report that Antony attacked her for “reasons of jealousy”, causing the displacement of her silicone prosthesis. She then was attended by two Manchester United doctors and had to undergo surgery in Presidente Prudente, in São Paulo, in April 2023.

Cavallin reported two more physical attacks that happened in England, with one having been witnessed by a friend of hers, as well as by Antony’s mother.

The report mentions that she was injured with a cut to her finger due to a glass broken by Antony – a photo of the scar was attached to the police report.

That same day, Antony is said to have attacked her again and broken her phone so she could not ask for help. Cavallin claimed that she only managed to leave the scene five hours later when Antony’s physiotherapist took her to see a doctor.

Cavallin also reported that Antony threatened her on 20 May 2023. Antony is said to have called her and said that “if he saw her with someone, he would kill her”.

She informed the police of a fear of Antony having access to a firearm because of his strong financial position, and also because he “still has many friends in the community where he was born”.

In the report, there are also details in which Antony showed “emotional loss” by stating that he would “kill himself” after fights between the couple.

Since the 28th of May, Cavallin claims to have had no further contact with the player. The police have requested “urgent protective measures” against Antony. She presented photos of injuries that would have been caused by the athlete’s aggression and said she also had other elements to present as evidence in the investigation.

ESPN say they have contacted both Antony’s representatives as well as Manchester United, but are yet to receive a comment.
