Manchester United will face Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup semi-final as Erik ten Hag bids to win his first trophy as Manchester United manager.
The EFL Cup was the last trophy Manchester United won, back in 2017 under Jose Mourinho, with the club closing in on a six-year domestic trophy drought since.
Erik ten Hag and his squad advanced themselves to the semi-finals of the competition with a dominant 3-0 victory over Charlton Athletic on Tuesday evening, with Marcus Rashford extending his incredible goal run to seven in a row.

When are semi-final fixtures being played?
The Carabao Cup two-legged semi-final fixtures will be played on consecutive weeks with the first coming the week commencing on Monday 23 January 2023. This fixture will take place at the City Ground, as Forest were drawn first.
The second-leg of the ties will be played on the week beginning Monday 30 January. This fixture will be hosted at Old Trafford.
Who is playing in the other draw?
The other draw will see Southampton pitted against Newcastle United across two legs, with the winner of this tie facing the winner of Manchester United’s semi-final.
When is the final?
The Carabao Cup final will commence on Sunday 26 February, hosted at Wembley in London.
