Manchester United host Bournemouth on Tuesday night as they look to continue a strong run of form that has seen them break into the top four.

Talk of new owners has recently surrounded the club, and their opponents have just become the latest Premier League side to gain new ownership – one of those owners being world-renowned actor Michael B. Jordan.

The pitch is filled with stars on the field too, and here UtdDistrict preview two players to watch on each side.

Manchester United – Antony

Antony started his Manchester United career as well as you can possibly start one, with three goals in his first three games. Since then, the goals have dried up and questions have been asked about his quality for £85m.

Post-World Cup, these concerns have been heightened with the Brazilian not dropping his best displays against Nottingham Forest and Wolves. But if we know one thing about Antony, it is that mentally he is a warrior and will always fight with everything he has.

His profile is crucial to Ten Hag’s game, and he will want to up his performance levels from the last two games so keep an eye on him.

Bournemouth – Dominic Solanke

Bournemouth’s squad does not contain too many players who pose an obvious threat to Ten Hag’s men, but the most obvious of those threats is centre-forward Dominic Solanke. Solanke is a very well-rounded number nine and given his affiliations to United’s arch-rivals Liverpool, he will be wanting to leave his mark on Old Trafford.
