Manchester United urged to re-sign Paul Pogba on free transfer after Instagram hint
Manchester United have been told to consider re-signing Paul Pogba on a free transfer after the midfielder’s interesting Instagram post.
Since taking over as Manchester United’s head coach, Ruben Amorim has faced challenges, leaving fans eager for January transfer window reinforcements.
This week, the club has secured deals for Patrick Dorgu and Arsenal youth prospect Ayden Heaven.
On the outgoing front, several situations remain unresolved ahead of the deadline, including a potential loan moves for Marcus Rashford and Casemiro.
Meanwhile, Paul Pogba is set to return to the pitch soon after his ban was reduced after it was found that ingestion of a banned substance “was not intentional”.
The ex-United midfielder has departed Juventus and is currently a free agent. He has recently sparked rumours about a potential return to Old Trafford with his Instagram activity.
Pogba shared an animated picture of himself and his former teammate Amad in United kits together before adding a second image of him looking out of apartment building, captioned: “Let’s see what’s coming…”
Saha urges United to re-sign Pogba
Ex-United striker and French international Louis Saha has made his feelings clear on a potential second return to the club for Pogba.
“If Paul Pogba is available, believe me, I would love to see him back at United at this moment in time. That’s how good he is,” raved Saha, while speaking to spaceportsweden.com.
“When he is fit and firing, he could go into the Manchester United squad and become one of the best players quite quickly.
“There are a handful of players that really excite me. Amad excites me. Neymar excites me. Pogba excites me.
“There are only a handful of players in this world that can do what Paul Pogba can do. It’s as simple as that, and that is why I would love for him to write another chapter with Manchester United.”
Pogba return is interesting but unlikely
Any return to the club for Pogba would certainly cause split opinion within the fanbase. Many love him and others hate him.
Pogba has not played football for 18 months, which makes him a gamble for any top level club.
However, there also will certainly be a level of intrigue if he would consider lowering his wage demands, with there being no fee for a deal.

If the 31-year-old was to do that, it would be an interesting prospect for many clubs, including United.
Amorim’s side are actually quite short in the midfield areas as well, but this deal seems quite unlikely to materialise.
