Manchester United unveil transfer hint during 23/24 third kit launch
Manchester United have launched their third kit for the 2023/24 season, featuring several players wearing the shirt for the first time.
The kit, which is an off-white design with a minimalist “Red Devil” logo as the Manchester United badge, is said to be inspired by the kit worn during “the triumphant FA Cup-winning season of 1908/09.”
Erik ten Hag‘s men will likely be donning this kit in the Champions League next season, with the home kit a usual red and the away kit a white and green vertical striped shirt.

As always, the kit launch has been accompanied by many photos of the players from both the men’s and women’s teams in the photos – and there is an interesting point to be made about who is in the initial photos.
Both Fred and Scott McTominay, who have been linked with moves away this summer, have been pictured in the new kit. This is despite West Ham lodging a £30 million bid for McTominay on Monday evening, and Fred is said to be 100% leaving the club.
It may be more of note, however, that former club captain Harry Maguire has not been featured in the initial release of photos.
Much like McTominay, Maguire himself was subject to a £30m bid from West Ham, making it the third offer that the London club have made for the England defender this summer.
West Ham have already bid both a loan with an option to buy offer as well as a £20m offer, both of which were rejected by the club, and they are now considering upping their offer even further.
This decision could mean that Maguire is much closer to leaving the club than either of McTominay or Fred, with Ten Hag needing to raise funds to sign a midfielder and possibly a new defender before the window shuts.
