Manchester United have faced several difficulties under Ruben Amorim so far this season and injuries to key players have not helped.
Ruben Amorim joined Manchester United in November and has since attempted to implement his preferred style of play at Old Trafford.
Issues have been experienced and some players have struggled to adapt to their new roles under the Portuguese boss.
However, a handful of others were thriving under Amorim, particularly Lisandro Martínez in defence and Amad in attack.
Unfortunately, both of those players have suffered season-ending injuries that has forced Amorim to look for solutions elsewhere in the squad to help the team improve.
Saha challenges Garnacho to replace Amad’s final third quality
The injury to Amad has caused more damage than that of his defensive teammate as United have been struggling a lot in attack.
The Ivorian had become one of United’s most important players and was showing the quality in the final third which his teammates were unable to do.
Louis Saha, ex-United striker, believes that Amad and Bruno Fernandes are the only two players at United who can provide that quality in the final third.
In an interview published last month, Saha also said that he hoped Alejandro Garnacho would pick up his form in the absence of Amad.
“Amad is one of the few players at United that can do it, and probably only Fernandes can do it too,” said Saha when asked by Best Betting Sites about the players who can produce magic.
“These are the only two United players that are capable of producing something brilliant that nobody can expect. The pass that nobody has seen.
“So I do think that we’re going to struggle now if nobody can come in and take Amad’s place and play at his level. I hope that Garnacho is going to do that.”
Garnacho has failed challenge so far but still has time to prove Saha right
Since then, Garnacho has failed to have a significant impact on the team and the same issues in his game are evident, with the winger unable to provide the final touch in the danger area.
Whether it is a pass or shot, the Argentine has been sloppy despite his general play sometimes being terrifying for the opposition fullback.
Garnacho is currently without a goal in his last 20 appearances for the club and he has registered just two assists in that time.

That is concerning form for someone who is considered by many as the most dangerous attacking player United have available right now.
With Fernandes often playing deeper under Amorim, there is an expectation for Garnacho to improve his form and start delivering in terms of goals and assists for United.
He still has time to turn it around this season, and Amorim doesn’t have many other options to choose from, so there will certainly be enough game-time for Garnacho to prove himself.
