Manchester United are looking to make it three wins from three as they head to Molineux Stadium for the final matchday of 2022.

With Erik ten Hag‘s men looking to end the season on a high, Manchester United are closing in on that target top four spot, sitting just one point behind Tottenham Hotspur in fourth place with a game in hand.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, on the other hand, sit 18th in the table, and are looking to grab a win to climb themselves out of the relegation zone, with new manager Julen Lopetegui employed to keep them in the Premier League.

After an initially turbulent start to the season, Erik ten Hag has mostly figured out his preferred XI, with the usual starting squad this season containing the same members.

However, after an illness has affected some of the squad members, Ten Hag had to play a rather unorthodox XI against Nottingham Forest, which saw Luke Shaw fill in at centre-back.

With Lisandro Martinez back in training, there is little doubt that he will be back in Ten Hag’s starting line up as soon as possible, and having trained for a few days since his World Cup return, there is little to suggest that this won’t happen immediately.

Casemiro put in a stellar performance against Forest, and will no doubt be at the heart of midfield again, alongside Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen.

Marcus Rashford has been on electric form recently, and as him and Anthony Martial netted on Tuesday evening, they will almost certainly find themselves lining up together one final time before 2022 comes to a close.

Full predicted starting XI:

De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Eriksen, Fernandes; Rashford, Martial, Antony.
