Manchester United ended their 2022/23 Premier League season with a 2-1 victory against Fulham at Old Trafford as Erik ten Hag’s side finished third in the table.

The Reds came from behind to win their last game of the league campaign ahead of a crucial FA Cup final against Manchester City.

Jadon Sancho scored a first-half equaliser shortly after David de Gea saved a penalty before Bruno Fernandes secured the three points with a goal midway through the second half.

Here are how UtdDistrict have rated the United players:

David de Gea – 7.5/10

A mistake to allow Fulham the corner which led to the opener but then a crucial penalty save minutes later to ensure the lead was not doubled. Another solid save late in the game to help United hold on.

Diogo Dalot – 6/10

A decent performance. Nothing special, which is disappointing because he was one of United’s best performers earlier in the season.

Harry Maguire – 7/10

A poor pass led to the Fulham counterattack for their penalty, yet a solid pass to find Bruno between the lines started the move for United’s equaliser. Overall, a solid game for the defender who is likely moving on in the summer.

Victor Lindelof – 7/10

Another solid performance from the Swede at the back.

Tyrell Malacia – 6.5/10

The left-back came in and had a solid game. Worked well with Garnacho and Co moving forward and held his own defensively for the most part.

Casemiro – 6/10

A clumsy foul to concede the penalty and was wasteful in possession. At least he did not get injured.

Fred – 9/10

Huge involvements in both United goals, with the second coming from a beautiful reverse pass by the Brazilian. A solid cameo ahead of potential involvement in the cup final next week.

Jadon Sancho – 8.5/10

A really promising game was rewarded with a goal. Looked sharper and created some good opportunities for his teammates. In the right place at the right time to poke in his sixth of the season.

Bruno Fernandes – 8/10

Yet again, the midfielder was everywhere in this game and produced an excellent chipped goal after Fred found his run in behind the Fulham backline.

Alejandro Garnacho – 7/10

The teenager had some very dangerous moments, including a shot that struck the crossbar, but he still looks like he’s more effective coming from the bench rather than starting games.

Marcus Rashford – 6.5/10

A slightly underwhelming performance. Lost his man for Fulham’s opener and couldn’t find himself a goal at the other end.

Substitutes

Christian Eriksen – 6/10

Decent in the middle.

Scott McTominay – 6/10

Important block in the United box.

Anthony Martial – 6.5/10

Helped create a big chance.

Wout Weghorst – 5/10

Should’ve scored his first goal in the league for United in his last game – it wasn’t to be.

Facundo Pellistri – 7/10

Looked sharp when he came on and spearheaded a dangerous counter late on.
