Manchester United should look to reignite their interest in one £20 million star after stunning fans with his latest display on international break.

Manchester United are preparing for a busy summer transfer window as Ruben Amorim looks to rejuvenate his squad.

While the Portuguese manager is eager to bring in quality reinforcements, the club will also need to make significant sales.

Amorim does not only need someone who can add creativity to the side, but also help control the game with their technical level.

It feels like a no-brainer for the Reds to be in the race to sign Rayan Cherki this summer as the 21-year-old looks set to leave Lyon. Reports suggested United were interested in him in January.

Cherki could play as either one of the inside forward players in Amorim’s system and has the technical ability needed to thrive at the highest level.

With a reported £20 million price tag, it feels like a deal that makes complete sense for United, who are looking to sign young players with room to grow and for respectable fees. This one ticks all of the boxes.

Cherki stars for France U21s vs England

Cherki produced an incredible display this week as France U21s took on England’s youngsters.

In a game filled with talent, including regular Premier League starters, it was the Frenchman who stole the headlines as he grabbed two assists and a goal in a 5-3 win.

While there are some apparent question marks over Cherki’s work-rate, his technical ability is unbelievable and United need these technicians in their squad.

Seeing the likes of Amad and Noussair Mazraoui link-up is so effective because they are two top technical players. Unfortunately, United’s squad isn’t filled with them.
