Manchester United injury news: Two stars miss out as Rúben Amorim selects Europa League squad
Manchester United have issued an update on their latest injury news as two stars miss out on Rúben Amorim’s Europa League squad against FC Viktoria Plzeň.
Rúben Amorim will be determined to lead his team back to winning ways as they travel to the Czech Republic to face FC Viktoria Plzeň in Thursday’s Europa League showdown.
Manchester United embark on a 2,300-kilometre round trip for the fixture, offering a crucial chance to rediscover their attacking rhythm after recent setbacks against Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.

United are currently 12th in the standings with nine points, trailing Rangers in 8th by just one point—the last spot that guarantees qualification for the next stage.
With three matches remaining against Plzeň, Rangers, and Fotbal Club FCSB, United’s path to a top-eight finish likely requires a clean sweep of victories.
Man United injury latest
In terms of injuries, Amorim will be relieved to know that he has almost an entire first-team squad to select from as they make the 2,300 kilometre round trip to the Czech Republic this week.
Toby Collyer and Jonny Evans have been absent for multiple weeks, but on Wednesday morning, cameras captured both players back in full training with the rest of the squad.
Out of the regular first-team players, only Luke Shaw was missing, with Victor Lindelöf also having returned at the end of last week.
In terms of the 24-man travelling squad to face Plzen, two players have missed out. With Shaw one due to his recent injury set-back, the other is Evans. Although he is back in training, he may not be match fit.
Toby Collyer has been included in his first travelling squad since the beginning of October, when he was on the bench for the side’s 3-3 draw against FC Porto.
