Manchester United confirm Rúben Amorim XI vs Wolves as Kobbie Mainoo decision made (Premier League)

Rúben Amorim has left Kobbie Mainoo on the bench as Manchester United line up to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday evening.

Manchester United make one of their final away journeys of 2025 on Monday night as Rúben Amorim prepares his side for a crucial clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Rob Edwards’ team have endured a miserable campaign and remain rooted to the foot of the Premier League table, having drawn just twice and lost ten of their opening 14 games.

Despite Wolves’ struggles, concern is also growing within the United camp following another disappointing showing at Old Trafford, where they were held to a 1–1 draw by 18th-placed West Ham on Thursday.

With Amorim under increasing pressure to deliver Champions League football and steady his position, the trip to Molineux has become a must-win task, one some believe could shape the direction of United’s season.

The XIs have been confirmed below, with Amorim starting Casemiro in midfield, while Kobbie Mainoo remains on the bench despite calls from fans for the young star to start.
