Manchester United confirm Rúben Amorim XI vs West Ham as Bryan Mbeumo decision made (pre-season)

Manchester United have confirmed that Rúben Amorim has chosen not to name Bryan Mbeumo in the squad as they face West Ham in pre-season.

Manchester United have landed in the United States for the next chapter of their pre-season tour, as Rúben Amorim continues to prepare for his first full season in charge of the first team.

Their opening friendly ended in a goalless draw with Leeds United in Stockholm, but there were encouraging displays from Leny Yoro, Kobbie Mainoo, and new signing Matheus Cunha.

Next up is a match against Graham Potter’s West Ham in New Jersey, part of the Premier League Summer Series, which also includes Everton and Bournemouth.

United will be based in Chicago for the 10-day tour, where they’ll face the remaining teams before returning to Old Trafford to take on David de Gea’s Fiorentina in their final warm-up before the season kicks off.

The XIs have been confirmed below, with Amorim starting Rasmus Højlund as part of the front line, while new signing Bryan Mbeumo is not in the squad, likely due to a lack of fitness.
