Manchester United have confirmed that Rúben Amorim is starting Senne Lammens as his squad line-up to face Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester United are back at Old Trafford ahead of the October international break as they prepare to face Sunderland for the first time since April 2017.
Rúben Amorim’s side have endured a difficult start to the campaign, winning only two of their first six Premier League matches and sitting 14th in the table, just one position higher than last season’s finish.
Sunderland, by contrast, have made an impressive return to the top flight, with Régis Le Bris guiding them to fifth place on 11 points from six games.
After a 3-1 loss at Brentford, pressure continues to mount on Amorim to spark a turnaround and restore confidence among the United supporters.
The XIs have been confirmed below, with Amorim starting Senne Lammens in goal over Altay Bayındır, while Mason Mount is part of the front three over Matheus Cunha.
