Manchester United confirm Rúben Amorim XI vs Chelsea as Matheus Cunha decision made (Premier League)

Manchester United have confirmed that Matheus Cunha has returned to Rúben Amorim’s bench as they welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Manchester United are back at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon as they face Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea in the Premier League.

United’s season has started poorly, with only four points collected from their first four matches. A late victory over Burnley offered some relief, but they remain 14th in the table – their worst start to a campaign since 1992/93.

Rúben Amorim’s men approach the fixture following a heavy 3-0 loss to Manchester City. Despite making encouraging starts to both halves, United were unable to create clear openings, leaving Benjamin Šeško without the service he needed. Pressure on Amorim is steadily mounting.

The game will also see Alejandro Garnacho return to Old Trafford after his £40 million switch to Chelsea last month, following his exile from Amorim’s squad.

The XIs have been confirmed below, with Amorim selecting Matheus Cunha on the bench amid his return from a hamstring injury.
