Manchester United confirm Rúben Amorim XI vs Brighton as Benjamin Šeško decision made (Premier League)

Rúben Amorim has chosen to start Benjamin Šeško as Manchester United welcome Brighton to the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

After an impressive 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield last weekend, Manchester United return to Old Trafford for a difficult encounter with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Rúben Amorim’s side have struggled for consistency this season, with losses to Brentford and Grimsby Town increasing the pressure on the Portuguese head coach.

Even so, that victory at Anfield — United’s first in nearly a decade and their second straight Premier League win — has lifted the mood and sparked renewed optimism.

Still, Brighton have often been a tricky opponent for United, and Amorim will be determined to respond after Fabian Hürzler’s team claimed a 3-1 win at Old Trafford last season.

The XIs have been confirmed below, with Amorim starting Benjamin Šeško as part of the front three, alongside Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
