Rúben Amorim has named Benjamin Šeško on the bench as Manchester United face off against Bournemouth on Monday evening at Old Trafford.
Manchester United will aim to find greater rhythm in their results when they host Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Monday evening.
Rúben Amorim’s last outing marked one of the more notable wins of his spell in charge, as a brace from Bruno Fernandes, along with goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Mason Mount, secured a 4-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers. The absence of a clean sheet, however, slightly overshadowed the result.
Despite suffering just one defeat in their last nine league matches, United have recorded only two wins in their previous six, leaving room for debate over the true state of their form.
Bournemouth arrive after a difficult run of four losses and two draws in their last six Premier League fixtures. That said, the Cherries have enjoyed memorable success at Old Trafford in recent seasons, winning 3-0 on each of their last two visits.
The XIs have been confirmed below, with Amorim naming Benjamin Šeško on the bench for the first time in six weeks as Matheus Cunha as part of the front three.
There have been rumours that Amorim could set up his side in a 4-3-3 formation rather than his 3-4-2-1, but this will only become apparent once the two sides kick off.
