Manchester United have confirmed who Michael Carrick has picked to start as they welcome Tottenham to Old Trafford in the Premier League.
Michael Carrick will want Manchester United’s strong spell of form to roll on when Tottenham Hotspur make their way to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Since taking over, the former United midfielder has led the side to notable wins against Manchester City, Arsenal, and Fulham, while Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Bruno Fernandes have all returned to their best levels.
United are right in the fight for a Champions League place and currently sit fourth in the table, so Spurs’ visit gives them another big opportunity to take three points and keep their attacking momentum alive.
Tottenham’s campaign tells a different story. Even after earning a 2-2 draw with City last weekend, they remain stuck in 14th in the Premier League. When the teams met earlier this season in North London, Matthijs de Ligt came up with a late goal to earn United a 2-2 draw.
