Darren Fletcher has included Bruno Fernandes in this squad against Burnley as Manchester United prepare for life after Rúben Amorim.
Manchester United travel to Burnley on Wednesday evening under unusual circumstances following the sacking of Rúben Amorim on Monday.
The decision came in the aftermath of Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Leeds, after which the United head coach launched a scathing post-match rant aimed at the club’s board, citing a lack of trust and authority during a difficult run of results.
With Amorim now gone, U18s head coach Darren Fletcher will assume control from the touchline, and could also be in charge for Sunday’s FA Cup clash with Brighton at Old Trafford.
United sit sixth in the Premier League table, level on points with fifth-placed Chelsea, and remain intent on securing Champions League qualification by the end of the season.
The XIs have been confirmed below, with Fletcher reinstating Bruno Fernandes to the starting line-up, while Mason Mount, Kobbie Mainoo, and Harry Maguire feature on the bench.
