Manchester United’s latest away kit for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign has been leaked with the jersey representing a “fresh take” on one iconic design.

There have been many iconic Manchester United kits over the years and the launch of the new strip each season is always well-anticipated.

However, no matter what the latest kit looks like, a lot of supporters will always prefer the designs from yesteryear.

Of course, kits are often represented by positive memories and those have been few and far between in recent years. But fans also love the uniqueness of some of the old kits.

United have had multiple designs in recent years where they attempt to implement styles from some of their most iconic strips and it seems like the 2025/26 campaign will be no different.

The upcoming away kit for the new season has been leaked by Footy Headlines this month and the Reds have attempted to put a spin on the iconic 1990/92 away kit.

With a white and light lavender coloured shirt, the away strip also features a large snowflake design which is supposed to bring a “fresh take” on that famous shirt.

Dark purple shorts will accompany the new shirt, which has an overlapping v-collar. Like the current third kit, the classic United crest will be replaced by the devil logo.

An image of the leaked shirt can be seen below, with comparisons to other recent designs inspired by that 90-92 away jersey.

“The Adidas Manchester United 25-26 is a fresh take on the club’s iconic ‘snowflake’ design,” Footy Headlines wrote.

United to swap shirt sponsors on current strip

United’s kit this season is a well-liked one, with the Snapdragon logo on the front of the shirt – they could also be looking to have their name on the club’s new 100,000-seater stadium.

However, it has recently been revealed that the Reds will be swapping out that sponsor for a game later this season.

Ruben Amorim’s side will showcase the (RED) logo on the front of their red jerseys instead of their usual sponsor for their match against West Ham on May 10.

As part of their agreement, Snapdragon has the opportunity to select a charity to feature on the kit for one game each season. This year, they have chosen (RED), an organisation focused on strengthening healthcare systems in vulnerable regions worldwide.
