Man Utd urged to sign “very skilful” Premier League star who’s a ‘blend of Bryan Mbeumo and Amad’

Despite a season of success for the Red Devils up front, a former forward has recently come out encouraging the club to sign up one of the Premier League’s hottest prospects.

It’s safe to say that Manchester United’s summer overhaul of attacking signings has been a growing success, with all the new additions contributing to the drastic upturn in goalscoring the team has seen this season compared to last.

Having already possessed a vast amount of Premier League experience, which has proven to be invaluable, the likes of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have been able to come into the team and provide an immediate impact.

This has allowed younger players such as Benjamin Šeško to grow and adapt to the league, and United are now reaping the rewards.

Despite this, ex-United Louis Saha striker has recently been speaking in the media, suggesting that United make a move this summer for a Premier League-proven talent he describes as ‘a mix of Bryan Mbeumo and Amad’.

Saha urges United to sign Ndiaye

Despite United being rumoured to be prioritising bolstering the squad’s midfield options this summer, Saha still believes that Iliman Ndiaye is an opportunity that the club can not miss out on.

When speaking to AceOdds.com, Saha was complimentary of the Ivorian, saying: “Ndiaye, from the moment he signed, he’s been an amazing talent. I would love to see him, maybe at some point at Man Utd, to be honest.”

“He’s a very skilful player. I like Ndiaye’s style. Like Mbeumo, he’s comfortable with the ball.”

“His work rate is very good… he’s a bit like a mix of Amad and Mbeumo to be honest.”

Should United sign Ndiaye?

With United set to be primarily targeting midfielders this coming window, as previously mentioned, news has been quiet surrounding the prospect of any potential further attacking additions after that of last summer.

This does not mean United should be completely ruled out from making a move for an attacking player; if a market opportunity were to arise, such as for Iliman Ndiaye.

With Joshua Zirkzee being heavily linked with a move back to Italy over the past few months and Mason Mount once again appearing to be suffering from injury this season, the addition of the Senegal international could prove to be pivotal in cementing United’s attacking depth as some of the best in Europe.

However, with Everton unlikely to let go of Ndiaye without receiving a substantial fee for the forward, this further makes a deal challenging for United to complete with the majority of the transfer funds set to be allocated to the midfield, with major names such as Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba, and Sandro Tonali being mentioned, who will all also command major fees to acuire their services this summer,

In an ideal world, Ndiaye would be a great signing for the club, being able to further bolster the squad’s attacking options as the Reds will look to continue to climb the Premier League table going into next season, but the likelihood of this is hard to determine until we have a greater idea as to what the rest of the clubs plans for this summer window are revealed to be.
