Manchester United confirm Erik ten Hag XI vs Arsenal as Rasmus Højlund starts
Manchester United have confirmed Erik ten Hag XI to face Arsenal in their third of five pre-season friendlies.
Manchester United has completed two pre-season fixtures in 2024. They lost 1-0 to Rosenborg but rebounded with a 2-0 win over Rangers in Scotland, with goals from Amad Diallo and Joe Hugill.
New signing Leny Yoro made his unofficial debut against The Gers following his £52 million transfer from Lille.
Next, United will play three more matches in the USA, including high-profile games against Arsenal and Liverpool.
First, United will face Arsenal in Los Angeles, kicking off at 01:00 BST on Sunday, 28 July. They will then play Real Betis at 03:00 BST on Tuesday, 1 August, at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego.
The pre-season tour will conclude with a final match in Columbia, South Carolina, at 00:45 BST on Sunday, 4 August.
In facing Arsenal, United will be able to put their pre-season work to the test against a Premier League side looking to continue their good momentum.
