Rúben Amorim’s first Manchester United XI confirmed as Marcus Rashford starts vs Ipswich Town
Rúben Amorim has selected Marcus Rashford as Manchester United face Ipswich Town in his first fixture as the club’s new head coach.
Rúben Amorim will take charge of Manchester United for the first time as head coach this weekend when his side face Ipswich Town in an away Premier League fixture.
The match, scheduled for Sunday afternoon, allows United’s players valuable recovery time following the international break, where 13 featured for their countries while others worked on regaining fitness after injuries.
United find themselves 13th in the Premier League, but the positive influence of Ruud van Nistelrooy, who stabilized the team during a turbulent spell under Erik ten Hag, has sparked renewed hope within the squad and fanbase.
Despite their current position, United are just four points behind Arsenal and Chelsea, who both occupy Champions League qualification spots—underscoring how competitive the race for Europe remains.
United have confirmed the XI that Amorim has chosen to select for the Premier League encounter.
