Manchester United have confirmed the starting XI Rúben Amorim has chosen to select as the club welcome Man City to Old Trafford in the Premier League.
Manchester United made their return from the March international break earlier this week, and Rúben Amorim is now focused on Sunday’s showdown with Manchester City at Old Trafford.
Tuesday night saw United fall to a 1-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest. While the result was disappointing and finishing let them down once again, Amorim’s side showed more composure and fluidity in possession—signs that his ideas are starting to take hold.
The Portuguese manager will be hoping for a sharper, more clinical performance when Pep Guardiola’s City arrive for the Manchester Derby.
With a Europa League quarter-final just around the corner, Amorim will also be keeping next Thursday’s trip to Olympique Lyonnais firmly in mind.
The XIs have been confirmed below, with Amorim starting Mason Mount for the first time since the two sides met in December.
