Manchester United confirm Erik ten Hag XI to face Rosenborg, debut given
Erik ten Hag has handed Ethan Williams his first minutes with the Manchester United first team as the squad line up to face Rosenborg in Norway on Monday afternoon.
Manchester United are set to kick off their 2024 pre-season tour with a match against Rosenborg at the Lerkendal Stadion, the first of five scheduled friendlies this summer.
Following the Rosenborg game, they will travel to Murrayfield to take on Rangers. The team will then head to the USA, where they will face Arsenal, Real Sociedad, and Liverpool. The tour will culminate in a clash against Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, August 10.

After a challenging season marked by numerous injuries, Erik ten Hag will be focused on maintaining his squad’s fitness and freshness throughout these pre-season fixtures and will likely heavily rotate in the second half against Rosenborg.
