Manchester United told of star who solves “all” Rúben Amorim’s problems, he’s available in January
Manchester United have been told of a brilliant player that solves all of Rúben Amorim’s goalscoring problems, and that the club should make a move in January.
Manchester United are looking to reinforce their attack as Rúben Amorim’s side continue to struggle in front of goal.
United’s lack of cutting edge has been a recurring issue this season, with the team often managing just a single goal per match. Their form at Old Trafford has been particularly concerning, adding to growing frustrations.
With uncertainty surrounding the futures of Joshua Zirkzee, Marcus Rashford, and Alejandro Garnacho, the need for attacking reinforcements has become even more pressing ahead of the summer transfer window.
Despite financial constraints, Amorim has been reportedly pushing the board to prioritise new attacking signings to revitalise United’s frontline and address their ongoing goal-scoring woes.
Osimhen solves Amorim’s goalscoring problems
United have suffered from significant goalscoring issues in the last few months, with the player having not scored a goal from open play in the first half since 7 December.
With Zirkzee and Rasmus Højlund under fire for their poor performances, former United striker Louis Saha believes that Napoli and Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen could solve all of Amorim’s most glaring scoring issues.
“Victor Osimhen is the striker I would do everything to bring in to Manchester United,” Saha told spaceportsweden. “I love him as a player. I think he’s the only striker out there who is transferable that would be a guaranteed success.
“I also think that Osimhen is the type of player that would help the other strikers at United. They would be able to learn from him, while he would carry most of the pressure of scoring the goals in the team. That would enable Højlund and Zirkzee to play with more freedom.
“He can also help the other players in the team. His link-up play is so good, he’s solid on that.
“At the moment, the United strikers don’t win enough 50-50 challenges. They don’t go behind the defenders enough, they don’t have the best movement in the box. Osimhen would solve all of those problems.
“I would love to see the club make an offer for him, whether it is in January or in the summer. He would be a revelation in the Premier League.”
Osimhen is available in January
Osimhen is one of the most revered strikers in Europe right now, although his transfer situation is a mess after he fell out with Napoli’s board and was shipped to Galatasaray on loan for the season.

However, the Serie A club have a clause in the Nigerian international’s Super Lig that allows them to recall the player should a club activate his release clause in January, which sits at £62 million.
Osimhen has 130 goals across his 243-appearance career so far, with the 26-year-old looking for new opportunities either this month or in the summer.
United may not have the funds to secure him this month as of yet, but should Garnacho leave Old Trafford for the £60 million asking price, this may change.
