Manchester United confirm Erik ten Hag XI vs Liverpool as Marcus Rashford starts
Erik ten Hag has chosen to start Marcus Rashford as Manchester United face Liverpool in their final pre-season fixture of the USA summer tour.
Manchester United‘s USA section of their pre-season tour has really illuminated Erik ten Hag‘s vision for his team from next season onwards.
Mason Mount, Toby Collyer, and Amad Diallo have undoubtedly been the summer’s standout players, but others, such as Jadon Sancho and Harry Amass, have also shown the Dutch manager why they should have a shout for starting the next campaign.

However, the immediate focus is on the Liverpool fixture and the looming Community Shield final next weekend.
With Leny Yoro and Rasmus Højlund confirmed absences for the coming weeks and months, Ten Hag will have to be inventive with his starting striker, and against Liverpool, he has chosen to continue with Sancho as a false nine.
