Manchester United latest injury news: Who can Rúben Amorim pick vs Ipswich?
All the latest injury news with Rúben Amorim set to take charge of his first training session as Manchester United’s new head coach.
Rúben Amorim will commence his first training session as Manchester United‘s head coach on Monday as he prepares to take on his toughest career challenge to date.
The 39-year-old former Portugal international was chosen as Erik ten Hag‘s successor after the Dutchman was fired for leaving United 14th in the Premier League table and 21st in the Europa League.

His assistant, Ruud van Nistelrooy, took charge of the side for four games in an interim capacity as Amorim could not leave his post at Sporting CP until mid-November, but once he arrived, Van Nistelrooy was also dismissed.
With the Portuguese coach’s UK work visa set to be processed, he has already met several of his United squad and will also be blessed with several injury returns.
Who is available for Amorim?
This season, United have had to contend with multiple injury problems, a theme that continued from last campaign, when the club suffered over sixty separate cases of injury.
However, prior to Amorim’s arrival, the club confirmed that Luke Shaw and Leny Yoro had both returned to first-team training, and the Portuguese manager met both players earlier this week as they underwent some conditioning at Carrington.
Tyrell Malacia is also back in action for the first time in almost 17 months, having played 45 minutes against Huddersfield Town for the U21s. He is expected to return to the matchday squad in the next few weeks.
Kobbie Mainoo was also spotted among those who have been undergoing conditioning work at the club, although the question regarding whether he will be immediately available for Amorim is expected to be answered next week.
Harry Maguire, Toby Collyer, and Dan Gore remain unavailable. The former has been injured for the past month.
Lisandro Martínez also returned from international duty prematurely after Argentina discovered a minor injury to his back. A full assessment on his fitness will be undertaken by the club in the coming days.
Multiple first-team players, such as Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, and Alejandro Garnacho, will not feature in training until later next week due to their international commitments.
However, many stars have remained at the club this month, meaning Amorim can assess those such as Marcus Rashford, Casemiro, and Mason Mount as he gets to grips with his new team as he selects his first XI, coming against Ipswich Town on 24 November.
