Manchester United injury news vs Nottingham Forest as Rúben Amorim confirms three returns
Rúben Amorim has confirmed the return of the players as Manchester United prepare to face Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League.
Rúben Amorim is gearing up for his second Premier League match at Old Trafford as Manchester United host Nottingham Forest.
Following a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal, United find themselves under pressure to secure points and climb the table. Currently sitting 13th, they trail fourth-placed Manchester City by seven points.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest have enjoyed an impressive start to the season, occupying seventh place.
A win for United on Saturday afternoon would see them draw level with Forest in the standings, adding extra intrigue to what promises to be a compelling encounter.
Three returns
While United had six players unavailable to face Arsenal, Amorim will be blessed by the return of three stars as United ready for their weekend challange.
Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martínez were both suspended for the tie in North London due to accumulating five yellow cards each, but having served their dues, they will return to the matchday squad.
Further to this, Amorim confirmed that Victor Lindelöf is back in training – but that Jonny Evans is yet to return after missing the last week and a half through injury.
“Jonny’s still not training,” head coach Amorim confirmed to reporters on Friday afternoon.
“Victor returned to training but is not available for tomorrow, maybe the next game. Licha [Martínez] and Kobbie Mainoo returned for the team so we are prepared for the game.”
Beyond this, United will also be without defender Luke Shaw and midfielder Toby Collyer as they rehabilitate from injuries.
Shaw has only just returned to the team but suffered a setback ahead of the game against Arsenal, but Amorim has explained that he feels Shaw will be ready to play a big part at United once he returns.
After five months with a foot injury, Leny Yoro made his debut for the club. Although he is fit to play, his minutes and fitness will be carefully managed across the Christmas period.
