Manchester United confirmed squad members vs Ipswich as Chido Obi decision explained (FA Cup)

Rúben Amorim has chosen to include 17-year-old Chido Obi in his Manchester United squad as they prepare to face Fulham at Old Trafford in the FA Cup.
Manchester United turn their attention back to the FA Cup as they welcome Fulham to Old Trafford for a fifth-round clash on Sunday.
United’s journey in the competition has seen them edge past Arsenal in a dramatic penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw at the Emirates, before Harry Maguire’s stoppage-time winner secured a 2-1 victory over Leicester City.
Rúben Amorim’s side come into this fixture following a 3-2 Premier League win over Ipswich Town, though another shaky defensive display has done little to ease concerns.
With United sitting 14th in the league, the FA Cup appears to be their best route to Europa League qualification—unless they can mount a deep European run and claim a Champions League spot.
Amorim selects Obi against Fulham
Amid United’s continuing forward problems, a report from earlier this week confirmed that young striker Chido Obi had been omitted from the U18s squad that defeated Arsenal earlier this week in the FA Youth Cup.
The report subsequently explained that this decision was taken as Amorim wanted him fit and ready to be with the first team ahead of their game against Fulham.
Obi was spotted arriving with many of the first-team squad, looking happy and confident as he walked into Old Trafford.
Noussair Mazraoui has arrived alongside many other players, with youngster Ayden Heaven included alongside Obi and Harry Maguire, who has started the last five games for the club, signing autographs with many fans.
Bruno Fernandes was spotted signing autographs and taking photos with many fans at Old Trafford as he gives back to those who support him.
One man who was not with the side is Patrick Dorgu, suspended for the FA Cup fixture after receiving a red card against Ipswich in midweek and a subsequent three-match ban.
Other key players, such as Lisandro Martínez, Amad, and Kobbie Mainoo, remain unavailable for selection due to injuries, with the two former players not expected to return until the next campaign.
Sixteen players were spotted arriving at Old Trafford and signing autographs with players ahead of the game, all of whom have been listed below. Although not all United players were picked up by club cameras, others may have taken separate entrances to the stadium.
