Manchester United vs Arsenal full FA Cup details as third-round draw confirmed

Manchester United have drawn Arsenal away from home as Rúben Amorim gears up for his first-ever FA Cup tie in January.

Manchester United are embarking on their quest to defend the FA Cup as Rúben Amorim‘s men are drawn against Arsenal.

Last campaign, Erik ten Hag‘s men put on a show for the ages as they won the 2024 version of the competition following goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo in the final at Wembley Stadium.

However, this was not their only dramatic victory, with many also pointing to the thrilling 4-3 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford in the quarter-finals in March last year, with Amad Diallo scoring a dramatic 120+2nd-minute winner.

With United dawning with a new era under Amorim as head coach, they will be looking to repeat their spectacular campaign in the competition.

United’s draw details

After being granted ball No. 23 for the draw, United were drawn against Arsenal for the third round of the competiton as all Premier League sides enter the fray.

As United were drawn second, the tie will be played at Arsenal’s home stadium, the Emirates. This is also where the two teams are set to do battle on Wednesday evening in the Premier League.

When is the game?

All third-round ties will take place on the weekend of Saturday, 11 January 2025, although the exact kick-off date and time is yet to be confirmed.
