Manchester United vs Crystal Palace referee confirmed as Premier League pick 101-card official
The Premier League have confirmed who will referee Manchester United as Crystal Palace visit Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Manchester United return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon as they take on Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
Rúben Amorim’s side have won five of their seven matches in 2025, including three on the bounce, and head back to Old Trafford fresh from a 2-0 victory away to FCSB, courtesy of goals from Diogo Dalot and Kobbie Mainoo.
United sit 12th ahead of game week 24, two points clear of Palace, but Amorim will be keen to extend his side’s positive run of form.
Old Trafford has proven a difficult venue for United in recent months, with multiple key league defeats on home soil. However, with their performances improving this year, they will look to turn the tide and claim another three points on Sunday.
The Premier League have confirmed match officials who will referee the fixture.
Confirmed officials
John Brooks (pictured below) will be the referee on Sunday afternoon in Manchester. Brooks has officiated 11 Premier League matches this season, four in UEFA competitions, and four in other domestic competitions.
So far this season, Brooks has issued 58 yellow cards in the Premier League and 101 across all competitions. He has issued no red cards but has awarded six penalties this season, two coming in the Premier League.
Brooks has met United three this season, officiating the side’s 4-0 win against Everton and 3-1 victory over Southampton, and a 4-3 loss against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup.
During the game, Simon Bennett and Dan Robathan will serve as Brooks’ assistant referees. Ben Toner will be the fourth official on Sunday afternoon, separating Amorim and Oliver Glasner.
Craig Pawson has been appointed as the Video Assistant Referee. Neil Davies will act as assistant VAR.
