£97k p/w Chelsea star urged to join Manchester United, could be “excellent” under Rúben Amorim
Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has been urged to join Manchester United under Rúben Amorim this summer after failing to perform at Chelsea.
Rúben Amorim is beginning to put his mark on Manchester United, with the 39-year-old gradually evaluating his squad.
After weeks of training, the players are starting to adapt to Amorim’s 3-4-3 system, while he gains valuable insight into their strengths and weaknesses.

Meanwhile, United are laying the foundation for their 2025 transfer strategy, prioritising the summer window due to financial constraints in January.
Although Amorim has a strong influence in identifying key areas for improvement, the recruitment process is being spearheaded by sporting director Dan Ashworth and director of recruitment Christopher Vivell.
Mudryk to Manchester United
Former France international and 1998 World Cup hero Emmanuel Petit believes that Mykhailo Mudryk should sound out a move to United in the coming months after failing to impress at Chelsea.
Amid intense interest from Arsenal, Mudryk secured an £89 million move from Shakhtar Donetsk to the London club in January 2023 but has failed to live up to expectations.
“Sooner or later, Mudryk needs to make a decision. He arrived at the club two years ago and what has he done?” the Frenchman said, via The Mirror.
“He has not improved and he’s missing a valuable period of his career and his confidence is down. He’s 23 and he’s wasting too much time already and with the new sports direction at Chelsea, I don’t think he has a future there.
“However. I think Man United could be an excellent opportunity for him as he suits in Ruben Amorim’s formation. His 3-4-3 could see him play him inside right behind the striker at Old Trafford.”
Amorim is looking for new players to fill the two No. 10 positions behind the striker this summer, although budgets at Old Trafford are cheap. Even if United wanted the Ukraine international, it is unlikely they would be able to sign him for a reasonable fee.
