Premier League confirm match referees for Man United’s clash vs Bournemouth
The Premier League have confirmed the match officials as Manchester United visit Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester United‘s last three Premier League results, against Brentford, Chelsea, and Liverpool, have seen Erik ten Hag‘s side take just two points from a possible nine, despite being in a winning position during all three fixtures.
It is an issue that has left them sitting well behind their rivals for Champions League spots, with the only glory left now in the form of an FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City and a potential final against either Chelsea or Manchester City.
However, the club are first focusing on their upcoming clash against Bournemouth in the league, where the Premier League have now confirmed the match officials for the tie.
Confirmed officials
Tony Harrington (pictured below) will referee Sunday afternoon at the Vitality Stadium. The experienced referee has overseen only one United game this season – a 1-0 win against Burnley away from home in September this season.
Matthew Wilkes and Derek Eaton will be on the sidelines, acting as assistant referees for Harrington during the game. Graham Scott has been handed the fourth official job, separating Erik ten Hag and Andoni Iraola on Saturday.
The Video Assistant Referee job has been handed to Jarred Gillett, with whom Stuart Burt will assist.
