Manchester United referee vs Bodo/Glimt: Only two stars remain from XI he officiated in 2021
UEFA have confirmed the match referee as Manchester United face Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on Thursday evening at Old Trafford.
Rúben Amorim will take charge of Manchester United for the second time on Thursday evening, following a 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town in his first game as head coach.
The Europa League fixture against Bodo/Glimt marks his debut in the Old Trafford dugout since joining the club earlier this month.

United currently occupy 15th place in the Europa League standings, three points away from the top eight positions that secure automatic progression to the next round.
With just one win and three draws so far, United must step up in their remaining four group matches to climb the table and avoid the play-off round ahead of the knockout stages next year.
The referees for the tie have been confirmed.
Confirmed officials
Lawrence Visser (pictured below) will be the referee on Thursday evening in Manchester. Visser has officiated two Europa League matches this season, four international matches, and ten in the Belgian Pro League.
Visser has met United once before, officiating a drab 0-0 at Old Trafford against Real Sociedad in the Europa League in February 2021. Only Bruno Fernandes and Victor Lindelöf remain at the club from the starting XI that played that game.
So far, Visser has issued 41 yellow cards in the Belgian Pro League this season, two straight red cards, and two due to multiple yellow cards. He has also awarded one penalty in the competition and two in total.
Rien Vanyzere and Thibaud Nijssen will be Visser’s assistant referees on the sidelines during the game. On Thursday evening, Simon Bourdeaud’hui will separate Amorim and Kjetil Knutsen as the fourth official.
Aleandro Di Paolo has been appointed as the Video Assistant Referee, as he was in the last United game against Leicester City. Valerio Marini will act as assistant VAR.
