When will Manchester United play Man City, Liverpool, and Arsenal? Full 2024/25 fixture list confirmed
The Premier League have confirmed when Manchester United will play Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal during the 2024/25 domestic season.
Last season, Manchester United finished eighth in the Premier League, their lowest finish since the competition began in 1992.
Erik ten Hag‘s squad is determined to improve on the 60 points they earned in the 2023/24 season, and they hope that their new summer signings will boost their performances.

United will also be competing in the Europa League and the Carabao Cup while aiming to defend their FA Cup title. They start their campaign with an FA Community Shield match against Manchester City on August 10.
United fans will be eagerly anticipating when their side will face the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, and Aresnal. The dates have been confirmed below.
Manchester City
Last season, Manchester City defeated United home and away, with both fixtures ones to forget. However, on the final day of the domestic season, Ten Hag’s men defeated City in the FA Cup final, which was a big lift for fans.
It has been confirmed that the two sides will first clash at the Etihad Stadium on the weekend beginning December 14. The return fixture at Old Trafford then comes on the weekend beginning April 5.
The two sides will also face off in the Community Shield, which kicks off one week before the Premier League season begins.
Arsenal
Much like Manchester City, Arsenal also beat United both at home and away last season. A 3-1 win at the Emirates in August last year was followed up by a 1-0 win at Old Trafford in May.
For 2024/25, the teams will first meet at the Emirates Stadium, with the fixture set to take place on the weekend of December 3. They will then play each other a second time at Old Trafford on the weekend beginning March 8.
Liverpool
United’s results against Liverpool were more positive last time out. The two sides drew 0-0 at Anfield in December 2023 and again at Old Trafford in a 2-2 stalemate in April 2024.
However, it must not be forgotten that the two teams met in the FA Cup, too, with United marching past them during the quarter-finals in a thrilling 4-3 win thanks to a 120th-minute goal from Amad Diallo.
Liverpool and United will play for the first time at Old Trafford on the weekend beginning August 31. The second tie of the league season will take place at Anfield on the weekend beginning January 4.
