Manchester United confirm Erik ten Hag XI to face Arsenal (Premier League)
Manchester United have confirmed that Erik ten Hag is starting Amad Diallo as they welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
After a series of disappointing Premier League outings, including a 1-1 draw with Burnley two weeks ago and a heavy 4-0 defeat against Crystal Palace on Monday night, Manchester United are now refocusing their efforts at Old Trafford.
Their next challenge looms as they gear up to host Arsenal on their home turf, with Mikel Arteta‘s squad deeply immersed in the thrilling climax of the title race alongside Manchester City and Liverpool.
“If I see the problems we have faced, all the injuries in almost every game, they have fought,” Ten Hag explained to reporters on Friday afternoon ahead of the Arsenal tie.
“There was great team spirit. Not on Monday. That’s why I was so disappointed. Monday, I was really disappointed, but also the players were disappointed with themselves. It was collectively a failure. But in all the other games we have fought with each other. A good team spirit, so I can’t have any doubts about this.”
The line-ups for the fixture have now been confirmed.
