Man United predicted XI vs Everton: Diogo Dalot and Lisandro Martínez to return to starting XI
Just three days after the 3-0 win against Bournemouth, United turn their attention to the FA Cup as they welcome Premier League strugglers, Everton to the Theatre of Dreams.
Fixtures are coming thick and fast for Erik Ten Hag‘s side and rotation will be vital over the coming weeks and months – especially if United continue to fight on all fronts.
The Reds are in fine form, winning their last five games whilst conceding just one goal. The opposition on Friday are at the other end of the spectrum. Frank Lampard’s side are winless in their last five and the pressure is mounting on the under-fire manager.

The FA Cup third round tie could present an opportunity for the likes of Lisandro Martinez and Diogo Dalot to make their first starts since the World Cup. Both Dalot and Martinez came off the bench against Bournemouth earlier in the week and could be ready to make their full return.
Raphael Varane was rested earlier in the week and should be in line to return to complete Ten Hag’s preferred back-four alongside Luke Shaw, Martinez and Dalot. If they all start, it would be the first time since United drew with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in October.
A midfield three of Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro and Eriksen looks likely, especially due to the unfortunate injury to Donny van de Beek against Bournemouth which may see the Dutchman on the sidelines for a while.
Anthony Martial is available after departing early on Tuesday night. Erik Ten Hag confirmed the Frenchman is ready to play a part in his Press Conference on Thursday, stating: “He’s available (against Everton) but it’s different. He came off (against Bournemouth) but he didn’t play that much in the first half of the season so we have to bring him slowly back into 90 minutes.”

Despite being available, Ten Hag suggested he will ease him back into the side given his injury troubles, so it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see United’s no.9 start on the bench.
United have a lot of options in the forward line but Garnacho, Rashford and Antony may be best placed to start.
Manchester United predicted XI (4-2-3-1)
De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Martínez, Shaw; Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, B.Fernandes, Garnacho; Rashford.
