Manchester United were in cruise control against Bournemouth as they won the Premier League encounter 3-0; with Casemiro, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford on the scoresheet.

Another clean sheet. Another win. Another great performance. Here are the player ratings:

David de Gea – 8/10

Not much to do in the first half. A very sharp save but the Bournemouth player was flagged offside afterwards. Following the interval, he made two very important saves to help ensure the clean sheet.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7.5/10

Another solid performance on the right side of United’s defence. He’s linking up well with his teammates and holding his own, as expected, defensively when Bournemouth attacked on their left.

Harry Maguire – 6.5/10

A couple of shaky moments in the first half but was comfortable throughout the match, especially in the second half.

Victor Lindelof – 6.5/10

Similar to his partner, Lindelof had a solid enough game but made some wayward passes too.

Luke Shaw – 9/10

After making it look so easy at centre-back the last two games, Shaw was simply brilliant as he returned to his natural left side. Started and finished the move for United’s second to put the cherry on top of his performance.

Casemiro – 9/10

Running out of words to describe this man… winning every second ball, phenomenal passing range and a wonderful finish for United’s first. This is one of the best midfielders in world football.

Christian Eriksen – 8/10

Another excellent assist for Eriksen, who is joint-second on the Premier League assist chart for the season. Worked hard defensively too.

Bruno Fernandes – 6.5/10

Some rusty touches and passes for the Portuguese playmaker in the first half. So much better when moved back to the middle of the pitch – great set-up to Garnacho for United’s second and then a brilliant run and pass to assist Rashford.

Donny van de Beek – 6/10

Unfortunate to have his game cut short in the first half after what looked like a serious injury for the Dutchman. Looked sharp but again not involved much.

Marcus Rashford – 8/10

Dangerous offensively throughout yet again. Perhaps could’ve let fly early in the second half following a wonderful piece of skill, then should’ve done better with a volleyed effort in the later stages. But he continued to work hard and got his reward with his 12th of the season five minutes from time.

Anthony Martial – 7/10

Some wonderful link-up play and hold-up to aid United’s attacks throughout his appearance but another header that should’ve resulted in a goal. Worrying to see him head straight down the tunnel after being replaced.

Substitutes

Alejandro Garnacho – 8/10

A very impressive cameo from the teenager, who assisted Shaw for the second of the night. So unfortunate to see his effort towards the end of the game clip the wrong side of the post.

Fred – 7/10

An impressive appearance, with some good passes and interceptions.

Anthony Elanga – 7/10

A nuisance when he came on up front.

Diogo Dalot – 7/10

Great to see the defender back from injury. Came close to scoring with a solid effort at goal.

Lisandro Martinez – N/A

A great reception when United’s World Cup winner entered the field.
