Mainoo, Amad, Martial: Man United team news vs Borussia Dortmund
Manchester United will face Borussia Dortmund in their fourth and final pre-season fixture during their tour of the United States.
They won 2-0 against Arsenal before a younger side lost 3-1 against Wrexham. The latest encounter saw The Reds lose 2-0 against Real Madrid after a last-minute bicycle kick from Joselu.
Andre Onana made his debut in that encounter and impressed with the ball at his feet. He also made two impressive saves after Jude Bellingham opened the scoring in the opening minutes.

Erik ten Hag started to increase the game time for regulars, however, there are certain players whose fitness statuses are not entirely known currently.
Amad suffered injury against Arsenal last week and many were fearing for the worst. However, the Ivorian winger later explained that the knock was not as bad as expected on social media.
He was included in United’s squad against Los Blancos but did not come off the bench. He could now be ready to make an appearance for the final game of the tour.
Meanwhile, talented teenager Kobbie Mainoo suffered a blow in the first minutes against Madrid, being forced off with an injury just six minutes into the game.
Whilst there were concerns about a potential knee problem, Mainoo was seen with a protective boot for his ankle after the game.
Manchester United have since issued a statement on Mainoo which read: “Manchester United can confirm that Kobbie Mainoo suffered an ankle injury during the match against Real Madrid on Tour 2023.
The midfielder is expected to be ruled out for the first part of the 2023/24 season. He has flown home from Tour to the UK where further assessment of his injury will take place before a medical decision on the next steps.”

Anthony Martial has yet to play in a pre-season game after suffering an injury at the end of last season. The striker started training with the squad this week and could make his first appearance with the squad on Monday.
United have also had an exit from the tour squad. Anthony Elanga has left the club and joined Nottingham Forest, whilst Fred was left at home due to ‘personal issues’. Rhys Bennett and Tyrell Malacia were unable to travel because of injuries.
This has led to Ten Hag calling up both Jonny Evans and Joe Hugill to join the first-team squad for the last game of the tour. Whilst their inclusion will mostly be for training, they could both potentially be involved against the German side.
