Man United confirmed squad vs Newcastle as Marcus Rashford returns
Manchester United face Newcastle in the Premier League on Monday evening as rumours suggest that Marcus Rashord will return to the squad.
Ruben Amorim’s side have a difficult test at Old Trafford as they look to end a three-game losing streak.
The Reds have had a difficult time under the new head coach so far, winning just four of his opening 10 fixtures.
With the club sitting 14th in the Premier League, they will be desperate to end 2024 with a victory before looking for further improvements in the New Year.
Ahead of the game, Marcus Rashford has returned to the squad, with rumours suggesting it is due to injuries and suspensions.
United’s no.10 has been left out of Amorim’s last four matchday squads and it has been put down to ‘selection’ decisions. Although, the 27-year-old conducted an interview earlier this month suggesting that he’s open to leaving the club.
Meanwhile, 16-year-old centre-back Godwill Kukonki is also with the squad at the stadium and could be named on the bench for the clash.
Kick-off comes at 20:00 GMT this evening, and UtdDistrict have provided the full 20-man squad news after the players arrived at Old Trafford this evening.
