Rúben Amorim reveals Leny Yoro plan vs Arsenal after Manchester United squad inclusion

Rúben Amorim has revealed Manchester United’s plan for Leny Yoro after he was included in the Premier League squad to face Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

Rúben Amorim’s Manchester United head into a crucial clash against Arsenal at the Emirates, riding high after a dominant 4-0 win over Everton.

Amorim has wasted no time making an impact at Old Trafford, guiding United to two wins and a draw in his first three matches. His arrival has reinvigorated a team that struggled under Erik ten Hag earlier this season.

Their next test comes against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, who are full of confidence following an impressive 5-2 victory over West Ham, promising an exciting encounter between two in-form sides.

United are 9th in the Premier League but remain just four points behind 4th-placed Brighton, keeping their Champions League aspirations alive as they aim to close the gap.

Amorim’s plan for Yoro

Leny Yoro has been included in Manchester United’s matchday squad against Arsenal, with this being the first time he is in a competitive side since he signed for the club.

Despite playing two games in pre-season, the 19-year-old sufferd a foot injury that ruled him out for months, and has been training with the club ever since.

Amorim, speaking to club media, explained that although he is in the squad, he will have to manage th eplayer’s minutes, hinting that Yoro will not start and could instead be on the bench.

“He is so much better physically. We are taking care of him because he is so important for us.

“Maybe he will be in the squad to London, but we have to control the minutes because he was too long without any games. Maybe he will be in our squad.”

United’s injury news

United will be without Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martínez due to suspension.

Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelöf are also out after injuries in the last few weeks, while Dan Gore and Toby Collyer are continuing rehabilitation.

Bruno Fernandes is fit to play despite being subsittued against Everton and spotted with an ice pack on the bench.
