Sunderland wonderkid Jobe Bellingham is a target for Manchester United next year and his current price tag has been revealed.

Ruben Amorim took charge at Manchester United in November and has had some difficulties in his opening fixtures at Old Trafford.

In his first 10 games, United have secured just four victories, highlighting the challenges the team faces as they adapt to Amorim’s new system.

While players like Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui have shown promise and potential for long-term roles under the Portuguese manager, the struggles of several others emphasise the need for reinforcements in upcoming transfer windows.

United planning to sign Jobe Bellingham

UtdDistrict revealed that there is a huge chance that United materialises their interest in Jobe Bellingham and look to sign the midfielder in 2025.

United have been keeping tabs on the Championship starlet at Sunderland and he has impressed the club’s recruitment staff as they look to continue signing young stars with bags of potential.

The new regime under INEOS have adjusted their focus to these kind of signings, as shown from additions like Sekou Kone and Chido Obi Martin in the summer.

Jobe, the younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, has been in excellent form at the Stadium of Light this season.

The 19-year-old midfielder has already made 20 appearances this season, contributing four goals and three assists, including consecutive match-winning strikes against Norwich City and Swansea City before Christmas.

United’s interest in Jobe comes after missing out on signing his older brother, Jude, who joined Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2020 despite having visited United’s Carrington training centre.

Jobe Bellingham’s price tag revealed

Bellingham joined Sunderland in the summer of 2023 for a fee around £3 million and he has since been one of the most impressive young talents in the Championship.

The teenager’s contract at his current club runs until June 2028, giving the Black Cats a more powerful position in any negotiations for the sale of the midfielder.

Borussia Dortmund have also recently been linked to signing the England youth international after they helped develop his older brother before his eventual Real Madrid move.

Last month, a report from The Sun explained that Sunderland will be wanting at least £20 million to part ways with their very own wonderkid.

However, with a deal in the January window viewed to be unlikely, that number may increase depending on Bellingham’s form going through the second half of the season for the promotion-chasers.
