Amir Ibragimov has been making moves within the Manchester United academy set-up and made his first appearance for the Under-18s this season on Saturday afternoon.

The 15-year-old starlet was named on the bench against Leeds United’s youth side and came on as a second-half substitute in the 4-0 win.

It was his sixth appearance for the United youth side after playing five games last term when he was just 14 years of age.

Ibragimov has trained with Erik ten Hag’s first team before and is rated as one of the most promising youngsters within the club’s ranks.

Following a long-term injury, the young talent recently returned to action for the Under-16s. Scoring a wonderful free-kick against Liverpool earlier this month, Ibragimov shared the clip to his social media channels.

“Love scoring against the scousers,” the caption read. He scored a further four goals during a 4-1 win against Newcastle’s youth last week.

When he came on against Leeds, the talented attacking player looked sharp and made several chances with his electric style when dribbling with the ball.

Ibragimov is considered one of the club’s ‘leading prospects’, and it’s easy to see why when he takes to the pitch.

More impressively than his talent against Leeds was the display of his power and strength. With another three months until his 16th birthday, Ibragimov appears more than ready for involvement with the Under-18s right now.
