Manchester United face Bodø/Glimt in the Europa League this week in Ruben Amorim’s second game in charge as head coach.

Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge ended in a 1-1 draw in the Premier League against Ipswich Town despite an early Marcus Rashford lead.

The 39-year-old was disappointed with the result but seemed understanding in the fact that his team needed to change a lot in a short amount of time.

With an adjusted system and player roles, the new boss is trying to assess who fits and who doesn’t in his new setup.

He will get further information this week both in training and in this game against Bodø/Glimt, who United will be expecting to beat.

The full details on the game can be read below.

Kick-off time & venue

This game will kick off on Thursday 28 November at 20:00 GMT and will be back at United’s home ground Old Trafford.

It will be Amorim’s first game in charge of the home crowd, who were in fine voice for all four games of Ruud van Nistelrooy’s interim tenure.

TV channel & livestreams

In the United Kingdom, the game will be available to watch live on TNT Sports 2 and discovery+, while international coverage and livestreams can be found here.

The UtdDistrict X account will also cover the fixture, providing quotes from Amorim and the players before and after the match.

Latest team news

Amorim will likely be aiming to change his side as he begins to assess the entire United squad.

Adjustments at the back will largely be based on availability as the likes of Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martínez and Tyrell Malacia have uncertain fitness levels.

Meanwhile, Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount will likely get some minutes and Joshua Zirkzee or Rasmus Højlund will be keen to lead the line. Leny Yoro could also be in the squad for the first time.

Manuel Ugarte could also start after coming off the bench last time out. Players like Diogo Dalot, Casemiro and Alejandro Garnacho are expected to rest.
